In its effort to spread the awareness among students and their parents, the Higher Education admission Center publishes a student Guide Book every year before the registration starts.

The Student Guide book consists of three main parts:

Part 1: Contains important definitions, instructions and procedures to be taken and followed by a student before and during registration. The explanation of how the allocation procedures are conducted electronically.

Part 2: Contains courses program offered by Higher Education Institutes and their requirement, and any additional information concerning these program.

Part 3: Contains courses program offered by Private Higher Education Institutes and their requirement, and any additional information concerning these program, for students who planning to study on their own expenses.

The Higher Education Admission Centre publishes two types of student guide book. A Student Guide Book for General Education Certificate and its equivalent students. A Student Guide Book for International Certificates students.

Both of this Student Guide Book is published in Arabic and English and both of them are made available for download in HEAC website.

The Student Guide Book is published by ministerial decree, therefore all the definitions, instructions and procedures mentioned – or any amendments - considered as general admission and registration policy. Therefore any legal disputes occur against the Higher Education Admission Centre, the Student Guide Book shall be the only reference.
